Happy Chair Home

There’s been lots of beavering away behind the scenes this week, so I’ll give you a little peek into what’s been going on…

Firstly, I finished off the Greaves and Thomas Egg Chair that I’ve been working on for Michelle.  I think her choice of pastel tartan looks fab!  It’s her ‘sewing chair’, so I hope it will provide a comfy spot for many a happy stitch in the future.

In other news, the IT team (me and my Dad) have been tinkering away on some changes for the Happy Chair website – a cleaner look, some more beautiful colours, and most excitingly of all, the ability for you to buy amazing pieces of furniture from us directly! While Etsy has been a great place for us to get started, it’s time to move on to our own online store.

In fact, it won’t just be fantastic furniture you’ll be able to buy – we’re also working on broadening out the vintage offerings we can bring to you – so think homewares, interesting curios, and basically anything we think is cool. If we’d have one (whatever it is) in our house, we’ll help you find one for yours!

There are still a few little tweaks to be made, but Happy Chair Home should be ready to share with you all very soon. Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss it when the new site launches!

That’s all for this week, vintage lovers – have a good one.
