‘Twas the week before Christmas…

Hans Oslen reversible stool, £300

The big day is almost upon us, and I for one can’t wait for school to break up and the holidays actually begin.

This week I’ve been cracking on with both the hall makeover and Carla’s Gplan chair – but neither are quite ready for their final reveal.  More coats of paint are needed, more ash grey wool is required…  but excellent progress has been made on both projects, in amongst the million and one things that are going on at home and school in the run up to Christmas.  So although I’d like them both to be properly finished already, I am actually quite proud of how far I’ve got on both counts!

There will be no blog for the next two weeks (gasp!  how will you cope?  There’s always the last few years of old posts to re-read…) as I shall be embracing the festive period with enthusiasm, and trying very hard to focus on what’s going on in front of me at any given moment.

This is also an important message. Ercol Butlers Table. £275

Being present with my presence and my actual presents, if you know what I mean.

So all that remains to be said is a Very Happy Christmas to all of you lovely readers, followers, likers and customers – I can’t wait to be back refreshed and revitalised in January to share heaps of fantastic vintage furniture with you, to share new projects and new ideas, and to generally have an awesome start to the year ahead.

Finn Juhl dining chairs, £1000 for 4

Thanks as always for your support for my tiny business – it truly does mean the world to me.

H xx
