Shiny and New

Alright, I guess January’s not so bad.  It is, after all, a time for new beginnings, and with that thought in mind, here’s all the new stuff we’ve got going on here at Happy HQ!

Emerging at the end of this week will be our first ever GPlan sofa – a style we’ve never worked on before.  It has a fantastic funky shape, with curved wings and angled arm rests.  Reupholstered in an inky blue linen blend, the compact size of this little number will make it ideal for homes tight on space, but with  a fully packed style punch.  Keep an eye out for it!

Another first for us with this project is the creation of hand made, one of a kind accessories – a pair of completely unique, hand printed cushions, and a wool throw with hand stitched binding.  Designed to co ordinate perfectly with the sofa, our first little dive into the word of soft furnishings has been really fun to make, so I hope you like them!

The countdown is on to our first fair of the year (8 weeks!) – we’re checking out a new venue in Vauxhall, so come along along and check it out on 18th March!  If you’ve never been to a Furniture Flea before, you’re in for a treat – there are all sorts of top quality goodies on offer from a huge range of traders – from enamelware to sideboards, from ceramics to radiograms.  If you like your vintage homewares and furniture, (and if you’re reading this, I’m guessing you do) it is the place to shop!

In case you are new to this blog, or just so that you don’t miss out on any of our new products coming out, or market dates coming up, you can subscribe to our newsletter here (I only email you when there’s actually something going on.)

Or if you’re more the social media butterfly, you can follow us on Facebook and on Instagram.   We’d love to see you over there!

Have a great week vintage lovers,

H xx
