Anything off the trolley, dears?

First of all, look at their little baby faces!  Second of all, just take a second to enjoy reliving some Harry Potter memories.  Good times.

Anyway, the reason for this delightful little snippet of HP nostalgia is, obviously, all about the trolley.  This 1970s Ercol hostess trolley, to be precise:

Tea? Sandwiches? Gin? Cake?
Tea? Sandwiches? Gin? Cake?

Back in August, Chris got in touch with us about this trolley – looking for a custom paint finish, Chris had an exact shade of blue in mind.  Several coats of Little Greene ‘Hick’s Blue’ (gorgeous!) later, and we arrived at this!

Little bluey has now wheeled his way all the way to Guernsey, to a very happy Chris.  And from a very happy us, too – we really love creating something unique and characterful, even more so when we know someone is waiting excitedly to bring it into their home.  As Harry would say, we’ll take the lot!

In other news, it is only 2 weeks now until our first excursion with The Vintage Home Show to The Paintworks in Bristol – a cracking venue, which we have visited before with The Furniture Flea.  There’ll be stunning industrial lighting on offer from J.A.M.S Ironwork and heaps of cool repurposed electronics (bluetooth radiogram, anyone?) from Retro Bazaar, alongside our fab selection of affordable vintage coolness.  Come and fill your house up with beautiful, unique stuff!  More details of what we’ll be bringing will be popping up on here and on social media next week…

See you soon, cool-hunters!
