Back in March we we very excited to tell you all about this beautiful Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle dining set:
And while this one has gone off to live of happy life in London, guess what, you guys. Guess what. We’ve got another TWO!
One is an extending table, in absolutely fantastic vintage condition, (pictured below) and the other needs a little love and affection to bring it back to its former glory.
But bring it back to glory we will! This fantastic design is widely considered a Mid Century classic, with the softly triangular seats and tripod legs that allow all four chairs to tuck right under the table. The chair backs rest completely flush with the edge of the table top, making one smooth continuous edge when the chairs are not in use. Beautiful, minimal and simple, as well as being a fantastic space saver. Love it.
And just in case you’re not actually looking for a dining table just now, we’ve also got some cool vintage kids chairs coming up, along with a restored and revitalised Tapiovaara rocking chair (you know we love a rocker) and some long overdue upholstery projects, so there’s something for everyone!
To conclude, here is a lovely vintage travel poster, which I didn’t use in my last post about Danish design, so I’m using it here. Enjoy.
Til next week,
